is displayed. In the event that an items data or
pricing is found to be incorrect, Magma
reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders
placed for that item.
Open Box or Factory
Seconds –
Select items on MAGMAPRODUCTS.COM may be classified
as either Open Box or
Factory Seconds. These items may contain scratches,
dents or physical blemishes
that do not affect their performance; they will
perform just like the new products.
International Orders –
Our website is not currently configured to support
any currency other than US Dollars.
Sales Tax –
Magma Products, Inc. only collects sales tax on
orders being shipped to an address
within the state of California. There is no sales
tax collected for shipments that are
delivered outside of California.
Cost and Fees Associated with Importation
–
Customs
procedures, and fees associated with importation vary from country to country.
Magma has
no way of knowing what these costs are and therefore is not able to include
these
charges
on your invoice. Magma is not responsible for any costs, delays, or problems
encountered
due
to any importation procedures. Any and all costs associated with importation are
the sole
responsibility of the customer. Any and all fees, due at the time of
importation, must be paid by the
customer
upon delivery in the destination country. Importation costs are not included in
the merchandise
price or
in the shipping charges. Failure by the customer to pay customs fees, duties,
importation fees or
applicable taxes will result in the merchandise being abandoned and no refunds
will be given by Magma
for
abandoned merchandise. Please check your local customs regulations before
placing your order.
Multiple Item Orders
and Shipping Charges –
Our Shipping Rate Calculator determines shipping
costs based on individual
items that are shipped to the Zip Code entered for
the delivery destination and the Type of
Service that you selected. After you have entered
your Zip Code and selected your choice of
service, please click on the Recalculate button to
update the new total for your order. On
rare occasions, some items may incur higher shipping
charges than those shown when
you placed your order. We will make every effort to
contact you prior to releasing your order for
shipment. Also, if you have ordered more than two
items, you may see a shipping cost displayed
that is higher than expected. If this occurs, please
contact us at (562) 627-0500 and we will
handle your needs in person so that we can assure
proper shipping on your order.
Total Time for
Delivery –
Total time for delivery is based on several factors.
They include but are not limited to
the amount of time it takes to get payment
authorization, the time for order processing and
the transit time from the carrier. Depending on the
stock level of the parts you ordered,
your distance from Magma, and your choice of
shipping service, this can range from
24 hours to more than 30 days for shipments outside
the United States.
Deliveries by USPS
(U.S. Postal Service) –
If you choose to have your package delivered via
USPS, please be aware that Magma
regularly drops off packages at our local Post
Office only on Tuesday’s and Friday’s. If you require
a quicker drop off time, there is a $10.00 charge
for this expedited service.
Freight Damage and
Shipment Problems -
All purchases from this Website are made pursuant to
a shipment contract. As a result, all title
and risk of loss for the purchased items pass to
you, the purchaser, upon delivery of the items
to the carrier. You are responsible for filing any
claims with the carriers for damage and/or lost
shipments. Product shipped by Magma Products is
properly packaged and protected; therefore,
damage in transit is the responsibility of the
carrier. If a package appears damaged when you
receive it, indicate the condition of the package on
your receipt from the carrier. If damage
is discovered upon opening the package, notify the
carrier and Magma immediately. Damage
claims are handled through the carrier. Be sure to
retain packing materials for carrier inspection.
Claims for missing items or errors in shipment must
be reported within 5 days of order receipt.
Product
Returns -
Please follow the instructions below carefully to
ensure your return is accepted and processed promptly:
packaging, unused,
uninstalled and re-salable, with all documentation
intact to be
eligible for refund or credit.
Number (RA#). A
return authorization number will be provided for all
eligible returns.
Magma will refuse all unauthorized returns.
RA# on the invoice
and on the shipping label.
original receipt of
the product to be eligible for a full refund. Items
received between 31
and 60 days from date of receipt, or received
without a copy of
an Invoice and RA# are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee,
and are eligible
for store credit only. Returned items are subject to inspection
prior to issuance
of refund or credit. Credits or exchanges cannot be
issued for used or
incomplete returns. Items determined as ineligible for
credit can be
shipped back to the customer upon request, at customer's
expense. Unclaimed
ineligible return items will be disposed of
after 30 days.
