For all Rectangular Grills, model numbers are located on either the valve box or the ignitor box, on the right side of the grill. 

For Gas Kettle Grills, model number can be determined by the grill diameter and handle material:

· 15” diameter with plastic handle = A10-205

· 17” diameter with plastic handle = A10-215

· 15” diameter with stainless steel handle = A10-207-3

· 17” diameter with stainless steel handle = A10-217-3

For Charcoal Kettle Grills, model number can be determined by the grill diameter:

· 15” diameter = A10-104

· 17” diameter = A10-114

Rectangular grills: Located on the right side of the grill is the igniter box, rotate so the knob assembly is facing you (just past a 45° angle) insert regulator into the burner hole on the side of the igniter box. Once inserted completely, rotate the regulator clockwise to lock into place.

Kettle grills: With the venturi tube facing downwind, rotate the regulator valve so the knob is facing you (just past a 45° angle) and insert the valve into the venturi tube. Once inserted completely, rotate valve clockwise to lock valve assembly in place.  The weight of the fuel canister keeps the assembly from coming undone/disconnected during use.

For the interior, we recommend using an oven cleaner.  Disassemble the grill by removing the cooking grates, radiant plates, and burner.   Lay these components on a newspaper outside in a well ventilated area. Follow oven cleaner instructions for applying and removing. Reference the grill owner’s manual or visit the product page for complete grill disassembly/assembly instructions.

For the exterior cleaning, we recommend using warm soapy water (Dawn dish detergent breaks down the grease best) to remove most of the cooking grease and easy-off oven cleaner to remove the heavily baked on debris.

For the exterior of your grill discoloration, we recommend using the Magma Magic grill restorer and cleaner.  Use a soft cloth or sponge.  Do not use an abrasive pad as it will damage the finish.

For best results we recommend cleaning your grill and its internal components after every 8-10 uses. This helps to increase the life of your grill by removing grease, dirt, and debris.

Remove the cooking grill and radiant dome.  Light the grill and place the pot/pan directly over the burner on the plate assembly.

For Rectangular Grills, first check fuel level by turning on the valve and adjust from low to high to feel the actual flow of fuel coming out.  If the fuel is undetectable, either refill the cylinder or replace the canister.  Second, remove the control valve and inspect the small gas outlet for any debris.  Third, and check the burner tube for obstructions/debris (remove grill grates and radiant plates to reach the burner).  Clean the inside of the burner tube with a long pipe cleaner or a twisted paper towel to remove any obstructions/debris and reassemble the grill.

Mounting fasteners are included with your grill package.  If you have misplaced them, you can order new fasteners here.

For Rectangular Grills, remove grill grates, radiant plate, and burner. Once items are removed using a 3/16 Allan wrench and a 7/16 wrench remove grill lid fasteners. Next, using a small flat head screwdriver remove (2) igniter box screws, remove cover plate, and disconnect electrode wire from the ignitor. When lid fasteners are disassembled, remove the grill's inner liner for full access to the igniter and wiring assembly. On the inside of the igniter box, unthread the igniter locking ring. Feed new ceramic electrode wire through inner liner and attach to liner using provided fasteners. When wire/electrode are installed feed wire through the grill body, reinstall inner liner into the grill body and pass wire into the igniter box. Attach female wire end to brass male fitting on the igniter body. When the igniter wire assembly is complete, reinstall the igniter box cover plate and fasteners. Reattach grill lid, securing lower bowl, inner liner, and reinstall burner. Before reinstalling remaining grill components test igniter for spark, adjust ceramic electrode at contact point on burner assembly to create spark.

For Kettle Grills, remove grill grate, radiant plate assembly, and burner. Once the burner is removed, remove the inner liner giving access to the inner surface of the outer bowl assembly. Next, using a small flat head screwdriver remove screw holding the igniter box in place. Disconnect igniter wire from igniter. Unthread igniter locking ring on the inside of the igniter box and replace igniter assembly. Pass new wire/electrode through the grill body and attach to the grill using provided fasteners. Reattach female wire end to brass male fitting on igniter assembly. Reinstall igniter box and reattach. Install inner liner and burner assembly. Before reinstalling remaining components, test igniter for spark, adjust ceramic electrode at contact point on burner assembly to create spark.
