It works
I find that this door does work however should have a knob of some sort to control the opening

Ken,
Thank you for your post and comments.
Please note the top screw has a larger groove and was designed for you to use the edge of a spatula to control the opening and closing of the draft door assembly when in-use.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions or comments.
Thank you,

Draft door added to propane grill.
Seems to be fine. Mounted on lid of old propane grill to allow baking.
Magma
Gale,
Thank you for the product suggestion. There is actually a very good reason why we do not put a draft door on our gas grills. By closing off the holes it restricts the necessary air intake for proper air/gas mixture into the unit as well as does not allow for proper exhausting which in turn can cause the grill to over heat potentially damaging the stainless steel.
