The radiant plate fit perfectly and works well! I have an older ( real old) Magma round original gril with the screen and ceramic Brickets. This is much cleaner and neater!
Not sure if I needed to replace this but the old one just looked way to grungy to leave. I'll be trying it soon. BTW, I own two grills. One is on my boat and the other is for use on my deck.

Should the Dome leave no gap between it and the Radiant Plate? My previous parts had a gap of about 1/4".

Thank you for your question. Yes, our original assembly had a small gap between the plate and dome. The newest version no longer has that space which actually helps radiate the heat to the cooking surface more thoroughly as well as aids in reducing surface flare-ups.
